"The Great Miami's Enduring Power" is a lyrical documentary photography project exploring the Great Miami River watershed's multifaceted transformations. This MFA thesis, born from my deep personal connection as a resident of Miami County and a veteran seeking solace in the river's landscape, integrates human presence within a broader environmental narrative. The project aims to document and advocate for its preservation by focusing on weather patterns, urbanization, climate change, historical contexts, and the river's interaction with fifteen counties.
